Rules of participation

Get a chance to win $ 500 by supporting a Canadian / Quebec company with a humanist vocation whose mission is to provide viewers with entertainment while being rewarded for having encouraged the Héroique Films brand.


The "April 2021, Win $ 500" contest (the "Contest") is organized by Héroique Films (hereinafter the "Organizer"). It begins on April 1, 2021 and ends on April 30, 2021 at midnight (12:00 p.m.) (EST). All references to time in these regulations refer to Eastern Standard Time (EST).


This Contest is open to anyone aged eighteen (18) or over, worldwide, with the exception of employees, agents and / or representatives of the Organizer, stakeholders related to the Contest, persons who have participated in the projects of the Organizer's team, as well as, respectively, any person with whom such person is domiciled.


To be eligible to win, you must:

3.1 Must have purchased at least one episode of the Organizer's catalog on its web platform at The purchase of an episode must be made within the prescribed period of the contest in order to be eligible.

3.2 Visit the contest page of the Organizer's website. Complete the electronic entry form (hereafter referred to as the “Entry Form”) by filling in all the mandatory fields and entering the answer to the following mathematical question: (12 x 2) + (21 - 3). You will be able to register until April 30, 2021 at midnight (12:00 p.m. EST).

3.3 To be declared the winner of the Contest, each participant must have provided the correct answer to the mathematical question on their Entry Form.

3.4 An entrant in the Contest can only use one email address (this must be valid) to enter via the Entry Form. Only one (1) participant per Entry Form.

3.5 Only one (1) entry, per person, for the duration of the Contest.


The Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to require proof of identity or eligibility (in a form acceptable to the Organizer, including official photo identification): (i) in order to to confirm the eligibility of a person to participate in the Contest, (ii) in order to confirm the eligibility or legitimacy of an entry (or deemed entry) in the Contest, or (iii) for any other reason depending on the The Organizer considers it necessary in its sole discretion to administer the Competition in accordance with these regulations. Failure to provide such proof to the complete satisfaction of the Organizer, within the time period indicated by the latter, could result in disqualification, at the sole discretion of the Organizer. 5.1 The Organizer will proceed with a random drawing from among the Entry Forms received via the Organizer's website.

5.2 The Contest draw will take place on May 4, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. (EST) at the Organizer's office, located at 19-604 rue Lindsay, Drummondville (Quebec), J2B 1H7. The draw will also be broadcast live on the Héroique Films Facebook page on May 4, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. (EST).


An amount of five hundred dollars ($ 500) in Canadian currency (hereinafter the "Prize"), payable by one of the following methods: Interac transfer, bank transfer, Western Union, Worldremit, Paypal, Stripe, Remitly, check and electronic check.


7.1 The winner will be contacted by phone and / or email and will receive an email confirmation with all details relating to the Prize claim. The Winner must claim their Prize within 30 days of the Prize drawing.

7.2 Failure to claim their Prize by June 3, 2021 at midnight (12:00 p.m. EST), the Prize will not be re-drawn and will simply not be awarded.


8.1 To be declared the Winner, the participant whose Entry Form has been selected during the draw for the Prize must comply with the entry and eligibility conditions set out in these rules. Failure to comply with one or more of these conditions will automatically disqualify him and another draw will take place to determine a new winner.

8.2 The Organizer will not assume any liability of any kind whatsoever in all cases where its inability to act results from a fact or situation beyond its control or from any fact or situation resulting from the Winner or his companion.

8.3 Any attempt to intentionally damage a website or interfere with the operation of lawful conduct of the Contest in any way (as determined by the Organizer, in its sole and absolute discretion) constitutes a violation of criminal and civil laws. In such a case, the Organizer reserves the right to sue for damages within the limits permitted by law. The Organizer, with the consent of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, reserves the right to cancel or interrupt the Contest or to modify its rules, in the event of any accident or any printing error or administration, or other error of any kind, without notice or obligation.
8.4 The name of the Contest Winner will be available from May 4, 2021 to June 4, 2021, Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (EST) at the Organizer's office located at 19-604 rue Lindsay, Drummondville (Quebec), J2B 1H7 .
8.5 The Contest rules are available, for the entire duration of the Contest, at the Organizer's office and on its website.
8.6 All Contest participants agree to abide by the Contest rules, which are subject to change at the sole discretion of the Organizer. The applicable law is that of Quebec.
8.7 By entering the Contest and voluntarily providing personal information including, without limitation, name, address, city of residence, email address, home and work telephone numbers (the “Personal Information”), each Contest participant gives permission to the Organizer to collect and use Personal Information for the sole purpose of administering the Contest and selecting the Prize Winner in accordance with the policy of Organizer's privacy (available at: . This section does not limit other consents that a person may provide to the Organizer or others relating to the collection, use or disclosure of their personal information.
8.8 The odds of winning depend on the total number of entries.
8.9 A dispute regarding the organization or conduct of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
